Airport Retail

MJ Consulting Engineers supported the recent expansion at London Stansted Airport, providing the structural design for the new WHSmith store in the Orientation Zone.

The project involved careful planning and coordination to deliver a larger, modernised space that enhances the passenger retail experience. The store now offers an expanded range of travel essentials, gifting, and the new “Smiths Family Kitchen” hot food concept.

Congratulations to WHSmith and the wider project team on the successful completion - another example of how structural engineering supports retail and airport growth.
